Instagram launched DROPS and needed to create a few videos to let the world know how to use that section of the App. Yes, we could've done a boilerplate infomercial, but instead we went for the punchy, punky direction. The production time was getting tight, and we hadn't yet landed on the final direction until I tried "just doodling over everything". That seemed to do the trick. So i furiously animated little doodles over the edit for a few days.
